The Los Angeles Angels swept the Boston Red Sox in the ALDS today at Fenway Park in Boston. The Angels were down for the entire game, but a 3-run rally in the 9th inning made the score 7-6, and the Sox couldn’t get anything going in their last at-bat. The Angeles had previously lost their last 11 postseason games against Boston, a streak extending back to 1986. This was also the first time an Angels team has swept a playoff series.
