CC Looks Great, Yanks Take Game 1
It was cold enough in New York for Robinson Cano to break out the ski mask. Not much to talk about in this game. CC Sabathia threw great pitches, giving up 1 run and just 4 hits in 8 innings. He probably could have pitched a complete game, but when you’ve got Mariano Rivera, you kind of have to use him. The Angels played sloppy committing 3 errors and impressing nobody, even after the momentum they supposedly gained by sweeping the Red Sox in the ALDS. New York is looking too good this postseason, and I think this is going to be their year. If the Phillies can get their shit together, maybe it will be an interesting World Series.
